The New Zealand World Latin Dance Cup is the National Latin Dance Championship event and the Official Qualifier to the World Latin Dance Cup in Miami.

Founded in conjunction with Albert Torres, the New Zealand World Latin Dance Cup provides an opportunity to network with other like-minded individuals who share a similar goal of competing and offers a means to up-skill our dance and music techniques. In so doing we will be encouraging all sectors of the community to participate in a national Latin dance championship.

This also provides a forum to educate, train and support the wider community in the different forms of Latin dance and music, the aim of which is to foster and increase public interest in this art form. In doing this we aim to promote and improve the standard of Latin dancing, throughout New Zealand.

Through the forms of dance and music, individuals, groups and families within the community will maintain their physical (tinana), mental (hinengaro), spiritual (wairua) and family (whānau) well-being.
